- Read or recall the news item
- Say the rosary, pausing at the end of each decade to listen to your heart
- Before beginning the next decade, call the news item to mind again
- At the end of the rosary place yourself and all those involved the news item in the hands of Mary
- In the light of the prayer, make up a short sentence that you can repeat to yourself from time to time during the day.
